Ski for a Good Cause

On Sunday, February 3, Catamount Ski Area will host "Soup Bowl Sunday" to help replenish food pantries located in Hillsdale and Great Barrington, MA.  Each person that brings 3 non-perishable food items to Catamount will receive $10 off the price of their lift ticket.  A Chinese raffle and a Taste of the Berkshire Buffet will also take place that day in Catamount's Tavern with proceeds being donated to the Hillsdale Food Pantry and the People's Pantry in Great Barrington.  Cost for the buffet is a $10 donation.  Pepsi Cola will also be in attendance with giveaways and prizes for skiers and riders.  For more information about Catamount Ski Area call (518) 325-3200 or visit their website at www.catamountski.com.

Attend an Auction

Enjoy a Ballroom Dance

See a Family Show

Attend the 2nd Annual Hudson Valley Cheese Festival

Enjoy a House Tour to Celebrate President's Day

Olana State Historic Site will host a House Tour of Olana Friday, February 15 through Sunday, February 17 at 1:00 pm.   When the U.S. Civil War broke out in 1861, all citizens were affected in some way and artist Frederic Edwin Church was no exception.  Join Olana for themed tours that shed a little light on the influence of the Civil War on Church and his art.  For more information about Olana State Historic Site call (518) 828-0135 or visit their website at www.olana.org.

See a Play

Need a good laugh?  See the show that puts the comedy back in musical comedy!  The hit of the Copake Theatre's Company 2003-04 season is back by popular demand.  Elise Dewsberry flies in from Los Angeles to star in the Company's one woman musical "Nine Months"  Dewsberry plays three very different women going through the joys and tribulations of pregnancy.  Light-hearted, laugh-out-loud humorous for men as well as women and ultimately touching, Nine Months has played hundreds of performances in theaters from California to Nova Scotia.  The show will be featured from February 22 through March 2 at the Copake Grange.  For tickets or more information about the Copake Theatre Company call (518) 329-1234 or visit their website at www.copaketheatrecompany.com.
