Attend a Plant Sale

Clermont State Historic Site will host the Hudson Bush Plant Sale and Exchange on Saturday, June 3 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. More than 30 vendors of heritage and heirloom plants will be on hand to exhibit. The Mac-Haydn Theatre will feature “South Pacific”, a play based on James Michener’s “Tales of The South Pacific”, stories the Navy sailor wrote of the servicemen and nurses, and the island people he encountered when assigned to islands in the South Seas during World War II.  The Mac-Haydn Theatre is dedicating all performances of the upcoming musical classic “South Pacific” to all the men and women currently serving and who have served in the Armed Forces of The United States. “South Pacific” will run June 8 through 18. Tickets are $24.50 and $23.50; $22.50 for all matinee seats; children under 12, $12.00. Attend an Auction

Stair Galleries and Restoration, Inc. will host an Exposition Auction on Friday, June 9 at 6:00 pm. This sale features a collection of Asian art including figurines, Buddha heads and prints; American and European 19th & 20th century glass, pottery, and porcelain as well as 18th through 20th century country, formal and art modern furniture and decorations from a Park Avenue apartment. Attend a Craft Fair

On Saturday, June 10, the Columbia County Historical Society will host the KinderCrafter Fair at the James Vanderpoel House located on Route 9 in the Kinderhook Village. Flag Day 2006

Flag Day 2006 will take place on Saturday, June 10 from noon to 11:00 pm. The rain date is June 11. The events of the day will include: kayak demonstration and showcase, Carp fishing demonstration and workshop, historic car and truck show, children’s activities, parade and fireworks. Visit a Historic Site

The Mount Lebanon Shaker Village will host a Community Open House on Saturday, June 17. The Open House will feature the introduction of the Traditional Building Arts Field School at Mount Lebanon. Guided interpretive tours of selected buildings at the North Family will begin at the Granary at 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. Remarks at 11:30 am. Refreshments will be served. Enjoy a Garden Tour

The Spencertown Academy will host the third annual Spencertown garden tour on June 24 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. This year’s theme, Beauty & Bounty, explores gardeners as stewards of the land and features outstanding vegetable gardens along with spectacular floral displays and a farmer’s market brimming with local early-season produce. Checkout a Field Sculpture Exhibit

The Fields Sculpture Park at Art Omi International Arts Center will open for the season on June 24. Events will include hayrides, children's activities and a sculptural performance!
