Chamber to Host Annual Agricultural Brunch

 

Hudson, NY – The Agricultural Business Committee of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Agricultural Brunch on March 15, 2006 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. This year's brunch will feature a panel of speakers focusing on Farming in Columbia County: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. The panelists will speak about why they chose Columbia County , their experiences, and how people can help support the future of agriculture in the County.

 

The panelists include: Weir Stewart former owner and operator of Odyssey Farm, Mary Gail Biebel from Chatham Keep Farming, Chris Cashen from The Farm at Miller's Crossing and Chuck Colaruotolo, Jr. from Running Creek Farm. The moderator will be William Jordan from New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.

 

The brunch will be held at Kozel's Restaurant located at 1006 Route 9H in Ghent . The cost of the brunch is $15. Please contact the Chamber at (518) 828-4417 for reservations by March 10, 2006.
