Chamber to Host Business After Hours at the Shaker Museum and Library

Hudson, NY – The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will host a Business After Hours for Chamber members and their guests at the Shaker Museum and Library on Thursday, September 22, 2005 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. The Shaker Museum and Library is located at 88 Shaker Museum Road in Old Chatham. Please contact the Chamber at (518) 828-4417 for directions.

The Shaker Museum and Library is the premier center for the interpretation and exhibition of Shaker life and culture.  The collections of the Shaker Museum and Library include Shaker furniture, oval boxes, textiles, craft machinery, art, tools and agricultural machinery.  The Shaker Library holds a host of archival materials including books and historic pictures.  The Shaker Museum is open to the public on a seasonal basis and features special events and educational programs.  The Museum library is open year round, by appointment only.

Business After Hours' offer excellent networking opportunities for area business people. All members of the business community are invited to attend this business event.
