Triform Camphill Community to Host Chamber Business After Hours
Triform Camphill Community will host a Columbia County Chamber of Commerce “Business After Hours” event on Thursday, May 12, 2011, from 5pm-7pm, at 20 Triform Road in Hudson, NY.
For the past 30 years, Triform Camphill Community has offered residential and day programs to young adults with a range of developmental disabilities.
Located on a 125-acre biodynamic and organic farm in the heart of Columbia County’s rich agricultural region, students come from all over the world to live, work and learn in Triform’s unique therapeutic community. “We offer a life of possibilities,” said Triform community member and CFO, Keith Bogdanovich. “While most might simply see our students’ disabilities, we focus on their strengths knowing that each individual has something to contribute to the community.”
The “Business After Hours” event offers an opportunity for area businesses to learn more about Triform, network with other area business people and take a tour of Triform’s extensive community, which includes seven residential houses, a bakery, weavery, painting and pottery studio, small theater, library, auditorium, barn and dairy.
There is no cost to attend, but guests are encouraged to contact the Chamber at (518) 828-4417 if they are planning to attend. Triform will offer hors d’oeuvres and beverages before the tour. All guests will meet at Triform’s Phoenix Center.
