Home Hosts Chamber County Supervisor's Reception
Hudson,
NY – With over 60 people in attendance the Columbia County
Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual County Supervisor’s
Reception on September 12 at the Firemen’s Home in Hudson.

The Chamber introduced the Gerald R.
Simons Scholarship Fund for the Leadership Columbia County
program in honor of the County leader. Gerry was a long-time
supporter of the program and his support was vital to the
first 15 years. The LCC scholarship recipients include: Liz
Beals, Beth’s Farm Kitchen, Greta Boeringer, Hudson
Area Association Library and Cecelia Karashay, USDA- Farm
Service Agency.
It was also announced that in January,
the Chamber will introduce the “Guide to Growing a Business
in Columbia County”. The Chamber plans to partner with
town boards, county supervisors and the Columbia Hudson Partnership
to create a guide that makes it easier for business to navigate
their way to success.
First Niagara Bank and Kinderhook Bank
