to Host Tourism Leadership Luncheon
Hudson,
NY – The Tourism Committee of the Columbia County Chamber
of Commerce will sponsor the fourth informal luncheon series
for local tourism leaders on November 15 at 12:00 pm at Hudson
Valley Academy of Performing Arts. They are located
at 957 Route 82 in West Taghkanic. A presentation will
be given by Carl Ritchie from the Copake Theatre Company.
Hudson
Valley Academy of Performing Arts is dedicated to offering
the finest training in dance, music and the dramatic arts
in a positive and supportive environment. The Academy has
a wide range of dance classes for children and adults, while
specializing in a strong classical ballet training program.
The Academy is one of the largest dance schools in the region,
with a main studio measuring over 1400 square feet with a
20' ceiling and two other studios totaling 750 square feet,
all with the famous, "Bolo Floating Dance Floors".
A fully equipped soundproof studio with piano is available
for private vocal, instrumental or acting lessons, along with
a small stage perfect for music recitals and play readings.
Additionally, the academy houses a snack bar, dancewear boutique
and dance library/study area.
Each
luncheon has sold out, so we advise attendees to reserve early.
A light luncheon will be provided. The cost of the luncheon
