to Co-host 21 st Century Hudson Valley Initiative Discussion

, NY – Michael DiTullo, President and CEO of Pattern for Progress
will speak about the 21 st Century Global Hudson Valley Initiative
on May 11 at Columbia-Greene Community College . The 21 st
Century Discussion will be co-hosted by the Columbia County
Chamber of Commerce, Columbia Hudson Partnership, Columbia
County Planning Board and the Columbia County Tourism Department.
The program will be held in the College's Student Center from
7:30 – 9:00 am.
Pattern
for Progress has launched the Global Hudson Valley Initiative
to create a culture of stewardship and a shared vision for
the future of the Hudson Valley region by building a strong
and informed foundation of citizenship action and effective
working relationships across public, private and institutional
boundaries. Pattern for Progress intends to model new ways
of collaborating and new ways of protecting all that we value
in community. They will work with others throughout the region
to develop a shared vision of our future in this era of globalization
and to harness the best of who we are so we may succeed in
our new world. The opportunities of the future are boundless.
The Hudson Valley community boasts a heritage of the coalition
builders, big thinkers, architects of the future necessary
to our success.

for Progress offers through the Global Hudson Valley Initiative
a framework for educating for global understanding and for
strengthening leadership and promoting new ways of working
