and Greene County Chambers to Host Superintendents Breakfast
Hudson,
NY –The Columbia and Greene County Chambers of Commerce will
host the 2nd Annual Superintendents Breakfast on Tuesday,
August 22. Join us to hear about “Education and Affordable
Housing: Keys to Economic Growth” at this forum. This special
program will discuss supporting and advancing the issues that
impact community growth. The keynote speaker will be Joseph
J. McGee, Vice President of Public Policy and Programs for
the Business Council of Fairfield County (CT). The purpose
of the breakfast is to bring business and education leaders
together to discuss collaboration and opportunities for graduating
students at local companies. Other topics discussed will include:
firsthand experiences from teachers and their students that
were involved with the B.E.S.T. Program, an overview of Chamber
programs and the program will end with a time for local education
and business leaders to network.
The
program will be held from 7:30 to 9:00 am at Columbia-Greene
Community College. The cost of the breakfast is $15. Columbia-Greene
Community College is located at 4400 Route 23 in Hudson. Please
