to Participate in Tax Free Week January 31, 2005 - February

, NY , January 18, 2005 - The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce
and the Columbia County Board of Supervisors announced that
residents will be able to take advantage of New York State
's Temporary Sales and Use Tax Exemption of Clothing and Footwear
from Monday, January 31, 2005 to Sunday, February 6, 2005.
Clothing
and footwear costing less than $110 per item and items used
to make or repair clothing are exempt during the tax free
