County Chamber of Commerce Announces Six Finalists
for
the 17 th Annual Crystal Apple Award
Hudson,
NY – Columbia County Chamber of Commerce President, David
Colby is pleased to announce the six finalists for the 17
th Annual Crystal Apple Award. The official slate of nominees
for the 17 th annual award is CMI-DRA Imaging, Finnish Line
Fitness Centers , Furniture Plus, Lippera's at the Chatham
House, Pro Printers and Stair Galleries and Restoration, Inc.
The Crystal Apple Award is bestowed on a Chamber member business
to recognize an extraordinary contribution to economic progress,
community improvement, and the quality of life in Columbia
County during 2005.
After
review of the candidate recommendations by the Chamber's Executive
Committee and the Board of Directors, the official slate of
six nominees was created. The ballot of official nominees
is mailed to the Chamber membership for voting to determine
the recipient of the 17 th Annual Crystal Apple Award. The
prestigious award consists of a stunning crystal apple from
Steuben Glass. The apple symbolizes Columbia County's simple
beauty, agricultural heritage and quality of life.
The
recipient of the Crystal Apple Award will be announced at
the awards gala on Friday evening, February 24, 2006 at Stair
Galleries located on Warren Street in Hudson. Invitations
and ballots will be mailed to the Chamber membership. Tickets
for the gala are $85 per person or $650 per corporate table
of eight and can be reserved via mail or by contacting the
Chamber at (518) 828-4417 until February 17, 2006. Bezalel
Gables Fine Catering and Events will cater the Gala. Bezalel
Gables Fine Catering & Events is a full-service catering
company that provides luxuriously handcrafted foods from the
