Excellence
in Business Awards and Showcase

NY, June 19, 2006 – The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce
announced the award recipients of the 2006 Excellence in Business
Awards and Showcase at Stageworks/Hudson on Thursday, June
15. The Business Showcase and Awards Ceremony was attended
by over 100 local business people and recognized all of the

Palmer was recognized with the Tourism Achievement Award.
The Tourism Achievement Award recognizes an individual for
their dedication in advancing tourism efforts in Columbia
County. Attendees of the event enjoyed a wine tasting by Hudson
Wine Merchants, a beer tasting by C.H. Evans Brewing Company
and hors d'oeuvres tasting by Maxie's Bistro during the business
showcase.
National
Union Bank of Kinderhook and First Niagara Bank were Major
Sponsors of the event. Midhudsonmedia and The Register Star/Chatham
