NY, June 15, 2007 – The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce
announced the award recipients of the 2007 Excellence in Business
Awards and Showcase on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Stageworks/Hudson.
The Business Showcase and Awards Ceremony was attended by
over 100 local business people and recognized all of the nominees

Hanvik, Executive Director of Columbia County Council on the
Arts was recognized with the Tourism Achievement Award. The
Tourism Achievement Award recognizes an individual for their
dedication in advancing tourism efforts in Columbia County
. Attendees of the event enjoyed a wine tasting by Hudson-Chatham
Winery, a beer tasting by Chatham Brewing, a juice tasting
by Micosta Enterprises and hors d'oeuvres tasting by Georgia
Ray's Catering during the business showcase.
First
Niagara Bank and National Union Bank of Kinderhook were Major
Sponsors of the event. Midhudsonmedia and The Register-Star/Chatham
