Chamber Agricultural Awareness Tour

Hudson, NY – The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Agricultural Awareness Tour on Saturday, June 25 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. The tour left from First Pioneer Farm Credit on Route 9H in Claverack and was open to Chamber members and the public.

The annual tour was created to educate and increase awareness of the socioeconomic impact that the agricultural sector has on Columbia County.  In addition to a back roads tour of the county, participants stopped at four specific sites for guided tours. Participants received an in-depth look into In Front Training Center, Meltz Lumber, The Farm at Miller's Crossing and High Falls Gardens.

National Union Bank of Kinderhook, First Niagara Bank and Midhudsonmedia were Major Sponsors for the event.  Columbia Land Conservancy, First Pioneer Farm Credit and Hawthorne Valley Association were Brass Sponsors and The Berry Farm was a Copper Sponsor.
