Winterfest is almost
here! Chatham Village becomes a winter wonderland
on Friday, December 21, 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Just as in our memories
of days long past, window displays will twinkle with lights
and delights. Stores will offer shoppers cookies and other
seasonal treats. Entertainers will be on the streets and you
may well find yourself singing along with the carolers. Take
a magical ride in a antique tractor-drawn stagecoach and then
visit jolly old Santa. Chatham, the retail center of
Northern Columbia County, has a wide variety of creative and
wonderful shops and businesses. Unlike the cookie cutter shops
at malls, Chatham Village shops offer unique and hard-to-find
items. Entertainment for all ages will be available. Just
four days before Santa is due to arrive, older folks may simply
want to finish up their shopping in a relaxed, happy atmosphere.
Children will be treated to stagecoach rides, street entertainment,
visiting Santa, and having their faces painted with seasonal
designs. The pocket lady will be strolling the village giving
out treats to good little girls and boys.
