Paving the Way to Success Forums
With major road construction on the horizon, the Chamber is hosting a series of seminars with the Chatham Business Alliance.  The seminars will provide Chatham businesses with information about how they can keep business strong during the road construction early next spring.  The first seminar explored lessons that can be learned from other communities that experienced a similar project.  Todd Shimkas, President & CEO of the Adirondack Chamber of Commerce spoke about the best practices and lessons learned from the downtown road construction project in his community.  The second seminar will be held on July 26 and will feature Steve Freemann, DOT engineer in charge of the project.  He'll explain the who, what, where and when of Chatham's project. The third forum will be held on August 23 and will feature Chatham graphic design and marketing firm owner Suzanne Trevellyan.  She will do an interactive presentation on using the Internet to sell your product.  All forums will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and are free to local businesses. Click here to read the full article.
