Reception for Senator Saland - June 8, 2005
A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 8 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm at Columbia-Greene Community College for New York State Senator Stephen Saland. This program will celebrate the many accomplishments of Senator Saland and will address the development of tourism in Columbia County. The main sponsor for the event is Columbia Hudson Partnership. Chamber Excellence in Business Awards and Showcase - June 16, 2005

Stageworks/Hudson will host the Chamber's Excellence in Business Awards and Showcase and will feature a keynote address from Richard Katzman of Kaz, Inc. The Business Showcase will be from 5:00 - 6:30 pm followed by the awards ceremony from 6:30 - 7:00 pm. Please click here for more information.

Agricultural Awareness Tour - June 25, 2005

The Agricultural Tour will take place on a Saturday this year and depart from First Pioneer Farm Credit located on 9H at 10:00 am and will return by 1:00 pm. The cost is $15 and includes a "box lunch" of local products. Please click here for more information.

Health Insurance Open Enrollment - May 1-31, 2005
During the month of May Chamber members can select a medical plan and begin coverage, make a change to their existing plan or add dental coverage. All completed paperwork must be received by Rose & Kiernan no later than June 3, 2005. Effective date of changes is July 1, 2005. Pathways to Employment
In April the Business Education Committee of the Chamber conducted two Pathways to Employment programs at Taconic Hills Central School District and Chatham High School. Members from various fields volunteered to participate in the roundtable format and brought valuable information to the students.
